You'll implement intuitive, ADA-friendly user interfaces and integrate with real-time telematics data to deliver high-performance mobile experiences.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications (iOS and Android) for drivers, dispatchers, and field operationsImplement intuitive, ADA-friendly user interfaces and workflows for trip scheduling, driver scoring, and incident reportingIntegrate mobile apps with backend APIs, real-time telematics data (OBD-II, GPS, sensors, cameras, gyroscopes), and third-party SDKsOptimize apps for offline functionality, low-latency data sync, and battery-efficient background tasksEnsure secure data handling (HIPAA-compliant) including token management, encrypted storage, and secure authentication flowsBuild in-app diagnostics and logging tools to support vehicle health monitoring, crash detection, and incident alertsCollaborate with backend, product, and UX teams to deliver high-performance, reliable features across platformsDebug, profile, and optimize mobile code for performance, scalability, and device-level securityRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience4+ years of professional experience building and shipping iOS and/or Android apps (Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter/React Native)Proven ability to integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and streaming data into mobile applicationsFamiliarity with device sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, camera) and real-time location servicesExperience handling secure data storage (Keychain, Keystore) and implementing MFA or SSOStrong debugging and performance-profiling skills for both iOS and AndroidUnderstanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and app-store deployment processesClear communication skills for cross-team collaborationSelf-starter mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact mobile experiencesPreferred QualificationsExperience with telematics or IoT-enabled mobile solutionsKnowledge of fleet-management, rideshare, or logistics-focused UX patternsFamiliarity with push-notification architectures, background geofencing, and route-tracking optimizationsExposure to ADA-compliant UI/UX practices and multi-tenant SaaS environments
