Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented, independent, and passionate Senior Accountant to join our team and take ownership of the financial and accounting department. You will be responsible for the implementation and daily operation of Odoo's Accounting module, ensure timely reporting, accurate invoicing, budget tracking, VAT declarations, and strategic financial support to the management.Key Responsibilities📊 Accounting & Financial ManagementImplement and manage the Odoo Accounting module tailored to AGAD's structureInput, categorize, and process all financial data using Odoo based on internal records and Excel trackersReconcile bank statements and track all inbound and outbound transactionsMonitor all accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial records💼 Invoicing & PaymentsPrepare and send client invoices through Odoo, monitor payment status, and follow up on late paymentsReview and pay supplier/vendor invoices after approvalEnsure timely and compliant VAT calculations and filings📉 Reporting & AnalysisGenerate financial reports on revenue, profit, expenses, and margins using Odoo dashboardsPresent monthly and quarterly budget vs actuals performance reportsProduce balance sheets, P&L statements, and year-end financial reports💰 Payroll & CommissionsCalculate monthly payroll for employees, considering bonuses, allowances, and social contributionsCompute and track commission structures for the sales team📈 Strategic Financial PlanningPropose and manage budgets for departments, investments, and operational costsServe as a financial advisor to the management by analyzing performance data and proposing improvementsSupport decision-making on financial matters such as pricing strategy, cost control, and cash flow optimizationRequirementsRequirementsMinimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting or financial managementProven expertise in Odoo Accounting module (must-have)Strong knowledge of accounting standards, payroll rules, and VAT filing 'preferablly international"Experience in working with B2B service companies is preferredProficient in Excel, reporting tools, and financial analysisFluent in English (French or Dutch is a big plus)Who You AreIndependent & Proactive: Able to manage your tasks without micromanagement and take initiative to improve systemsDetail-Oriented: You don't let anything slip; accuracy is in your DNACommitted: You care deeply about your work and the financial health of the companyStrategic Thinker: Beyond bookkeeping, you help drive financial clarity and growth
