PR Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives and brand positioning.Define annual PR plans including media outreach, thought leadership, events, and sponsorships.Identify opportunities to enhance corporate reputation and brand equity through strategic communications.Media RelationsBuild, maintain, and expand strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets across print, broadcast, and digital channels.Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, feature articles, and executive statements.Secure high-quality editorial coverage and manage incoming media enquiries professionally and promptly.Coordinate media interviews and spokesperson briefings for senior leadership.Content & StorytellingCraft compelling narratives and key messages that reflect the organization's values, vision, and market positioning.Produce a wide range of PR content including corporate profiles, op-eds, case studies, speeches, and award submissions.Collaborate with the marketing and digital teams to ensure PR content is amplified across owned and social channels.Crisis & Issues ManagementLead crisis communications planning and serve as the primary point of contact for reputational and media-related issues.Develop crisis communication protocols, holding statements, and response frameworks.Monitor the media landscape and proactively flag potential risks to leadership.Events & ActivationsPlan and manage press conferences, media briefings, product launches, and corporate events.Represent the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events.Coordinate with event and production teams to ensure seamless execution and media coverage.Reporting & MeasurementTrack, analyze, and report on PR campaign performance including media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, and AVE.Prepare monthly and quarterly PR reports with insights and strategic recommendations for leadership.Monitor competitor communications activity and industry trends to inform strategy. EducationBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.A postgraduate qualification or professional PR certification (e.g. CIPR, PRCA) is a strong advantage.Experience7–9 years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.Proven track record of securing top-tier media coverage and managing complex communications campaigns.Prior experience in agency or in-house PR environments; industry exposure in construction, manufacturing, security, or B2B sectors is a plus.Demonstrated experience in crisis communications and issues management.Technical SkillsExcellent command of media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g. Meltwater, Cision, or equivalent).Proficiency in developing press materials, executive communications, and corporate publications.Familiarity with digital PR practices including online reputation management and social media amplification.Soft SkillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.Strong editorial judgment with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.Strategic thinker with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.High level of professionalism, discretion, and stakeholder management skills.Confident and credible in representing the organization to media and external audiences.
