Job SummaryThe Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing both foreign and local procurement activities of materials, equipment, and services. The role ensures cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and compliance with technical specifications, company policies, and project requirements. The position requires strong expertise in international sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, and contract execution across global and local markets.Key Responsibilities1. Foreign & Local Procurement ManagementHandle end-to-end procurement processes for both local and international suppliersSource materials, equipment, and services from global and domestic marketsManage import procurement activities including shipping terms, logistics coordination, and customs clearanceEnsure compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms2. Technical Evaluation & SourcingReview technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and project requirementsPrepare RFQs/RFPs and conduct technical and commercial evaluationsIdentify and prequalify suppliers based on technical capability and cost efficiencyEnsure alignment between engineering requirements and procurement decisions3. Supplier ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendorsConduct supplier performance evaluations and auditsNegotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contractual conditionsManage supplier risks and ensure continuity of supply4. Contract & Commercial ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate contracts and purchase agreementsEnsure compliance with company policies and legal requirementsHandle variations, claims, and dispute resolution with suppliersEnsure cost optimization and value engineering in procurement decisions5.
