Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site position for a Senior Procurement Engineer, based in Sheraton El Matar. The role involves managing and optimizing procurement activities, including supplier evaluation, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating requests for quotations (RFQs). The Senior Procurement Engineer will ensure cost-effective procurement of materials, maintain strong communication with suppliers, and evaluate purchasing performance. Analytical problem-solving and strong coordination with other departments are integral to daily responsibilities. QualificationsProficiency in Supplier Evaluation and processing Purchase OrdersExperience with generating and reviewing Request for Quotation (RFQ)Strong Analytical Skills for optimizing procurement costs and supplier performanceExcellent Communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and internal teamsFamiliarity with procurement software or tools is a plusBachelor's degree in Engineering5+ years of experience in procurement or a related role, preferably in constructionStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
