Role Purpose:The Senior QA/QC Engineer professional will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving AIS's Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices across projects, engineering, and operational processes. The role ensures compliance with AIS's Quality Management System (QMS), customer requirements, ISO standards, and internal policies—while driving continuous improvement and proactive risk management.You will work closely with the Quality Manager and cross-functional teams to embed quality excellence across the full project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Quality AssuranceMaintain quality processes aligned with AIS QMS and ISO 9001 standardsMaintain EHS processesConduct internal quality audits for departments and projectsParticipate in external audits with certification bodiesReview and verify engineering documents, technical deliverables, and project quality plansEnsure compliance with contractual requirements and customer specificationsParticipate in tender quality reviews and contract requirement analysisParticipate in the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) process across all phases—including initiation, feedback collection, analysis, investigation, and follow‑up actionsParticipate in root‑cause investigations for customer complaints and quality deliverables failures and drive effective corrective actions across involved teamsParticipate in preparation of the extra required certificate (ex. AVETTA, EcoVadis..etc)Quality ControlConduct and Lead inspections, verifications, and compliance for AIS deliverablesPrepare and maintain QC documentation, checklists, and inspection reportsIdentify non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed on timeSupport supplier evaluations and site quality assessmentsFunctional Safety & Compliance SupportSupport functional safety compliance activities (e.g., IEC 61508/61511) under the Quality & FSM Manager's supervisionEnsure documentation and deliverables are properly controlled and validatedContinuous ImprovementAnalyze quality performance data and recommend improvement initiativesPromote best practices and process optimization across teamsSupport the development of new quality procedures, standards, and governance toolsParticipate in SIX SIGMA and Lean projectsStakeholder CollaborationWork collaboratively with Engineering, Projects, Supply Chain, and EHSParticipate in customer meetings, audits, and follow‑upsEnsure alignment and communication of quality expectations across stakeholdersRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or related)7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in engineering, industrial automation, or technology environmentsStrong knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS processes, and project quality methodologiesGood knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) principles and compliance requirementsknowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Kaizen, FMEA)Experience in inspections, audits, and documentation controlKnowledge of functional safety (IEC 61508 / 61511) is an advantageExcellent communication, analytical, and reporting skillsStrong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
