We are seeking a results-driven Senior QHSE Engineer to lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, and Health, Safety & Environmental functions across our West Africa operations. This role suits a hands-on QHSE professional with 3–5 years of focused experience who is ready to step into a senior leadership position, drive integrated management systems, and embed a strong culture of quality and safety across the organization.RESPONSIBILITIESLead, manage, and develop the QA, QC, Food Safety, and HSE functions to meet company objectives and KPIs.Drive the implementation, certification, and ongoing maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and FSSC management systems.Develop and enforce QHSE policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.Manage supplier assurance programs including audits, risk assessments, approvals, and performance reviews.Lead customer quality management activities including complaint resolution, audits, and satisfaction improvement.Oversee food safety programs including HACCP, PRPs, food defense, food fraud, environmental monitoring, and swab programs.Lead incident and deviation investigations; approve CAPA plans and verify their effectiveness.Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across environmental, occupational health, and food safety domains.Manage document control, calibration, validation, and verification programs.Lead management review meetings and present departmental performance data.Develop competency frameworks and training programs for the QHSE team.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and operational efficiency.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in QHSE roles, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory exposure.Fluent in written and spoken English.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000, auditing, and risk management.Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sectors (preferred).Lead Auditor certification in one or more ISO standards (preferred).BENEFITSTransportation / Transportation Allowance ProvidedHousing ProvidedBonusSocial and Medical Insurance
