The role interfaces directly with the Customer, contributing to technical reviews, commissioning activities, and operational readiness, while also supporting capability development and knowledge transfer.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise and support in radiation protection, including documentation review, commissioning, and operational readiness. Review design, safety, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards. Support commissioning through review of test programs, procedures, and system readiness. Interface with the Customer, contractors, and stakeholders in technical discussions and meetings. Coordinate with engineering disciplines and project teams to ensure integrated project delivery. Review as-built documentation and system changes for alignment with approved design basis. Contribute to operational readiness assessments, including processes, procedures, and organizational setup. Prepare technical reports, comments, and correspondence related to radiation protection and safety. Experience and QualificationsBachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) in Radiology, Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Physics. 8+ years of experience in radiation protection engineering in the nuclear energy industry.
