Senior Reporting & Consolidation Analyst

Main Job Purpose:Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance, by assisting in the preparation of financial statements and providing accurate and timely reports to support accurate and reliable decision-making and the organization's goals.Accountabilities:Assisting in the preparation of financial statements by analyzing balance sheets and profit and loss statements to ensure timely and accurate closing of financial statements to ensure compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and maintain financial accuracy.Assisting in reviewing group statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance by thoroughly examine financial statements, ensuring adherence to reporting standards and disclosure requirements to maintain transparency, provide reliable financial information for stakeholders, and fulfill regulatory obligations.Collaborating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation to facilitate the audit process by fulfilling audit queries and ensuring timely completion of audits to fulfill regulatory obligations.Supporting and assisting in preparing financial information for external reporting by gathering and consolidating financial data, reviewing applicable regulations, and ensuring accurate and transparent reporting to meet legal obligations, provide stakeholders with reliable information, and maintain organization’s credibility.Assisting in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of financial reporting processes by improving ERP accounting systems to optimize financial reporting processes, improve its efficiency, and ensure reliable data management.Providing financial analysis and commentary to the FP&A team by conducting in-depth analysis and presenting findings to support informed decision-making and achieve financial goals.Assisting and collaborating with the tax team to prepare tax returns and reports by gathering required financial data and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to ensure compliance with tax regulations and minimize tax liabilities.Engaging proactively in cross-functional collaboration by aligning reporting requirements and ensure accurate reporting to drive value creation and support organizational goals.Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs.Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Company guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years in Reporting & ConsolidationStrong knowledge of accounting standards, reporting and consolidation.Previous audit experience from the big 4 companies is preferableAnalytical SkillsAttention to detail
