Job Purpose:The Senior Site Engineer oversees day-to-day site operations, ensuring construction work is executed in line with project specifications, timelines, safety standards, and quality requirements. The role acts as the technical reference on-site, coordinating between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver assigned project packages efficiently and within scope.Job Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Review and interpret project drawings and specifications, ensuring all work aligns with approved plans.Monitor progress against schedules, identifying potential delays and proposing corrective actions.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship and adherence to safety and quality standards.Liaise with the Technical Office, Quality Control, and Procurement teams to resolve site-related issues.Attend coordination meetings with consultants and clients to provide progress updates and address technical queries.Ensure proper communication of instructions and changes to subcontractors and labor teams.Enforce implementation of HSE policies and procedures on-site.Verify that materials and work performed comply with project specifications and approved submittals.Report and document any non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective measures.Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and inspection logs.Assist in verifying subcontractor invoices and progress claims based on actual work done.Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and foremen.Identify and propose solutions for design or construction challenges encountered on-site.Ensure proper implementation of approved shop drawings and method statements.Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.6–8 years of experience in construction and site supervision, preferably within the real estate PMP or equivalent (preferred).Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project sequencing.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and Microsoft Office.Familiarity with quality control and safety management systems.
