Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET)

Job Overview:Participate in the development of test automation frameworks while contributing to manual testing for critical features, mentor junior team members, collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Duties & Responsibilities:Design and review test cases and test scriptsAbility to define test case execution priority and impact analysisRecommend, implement, and work with test management, defect management, performance, and automation toolsLog issues and track until closureCommunicate with project manager regarding project issues, impacts to the schedule, and performance issuesAble to understand new testing techniques, technologies, and toolWork within an agile, self-organizing Scrum teamCoordinate with the engineers on Result and Defects Status on a regular basisSDET: Writing unit test for testing API and business layerSDET: Fixing Minor Defects Discovered During TestingSDET: Documenting API endpoints or services to aid both testing and development effortsRequirements3+ years of hands-on experience in software testingGood experience with Selenium, TestNG, Junit, NunitGood knowledge in testing estimation techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailProficient in English (verbal and written)Good work ethics, Team player, positive and self-motivatedStrong Communication and Interpersonal skillsDatabase manipulation skills, mainly in SQLGood time-management skillsGood knowledge of Agile development Methodology and agile testingGreat attention to detail and organizedFair Knowledge about Cloud, ETL and DevOps ConceptsFlexible and Adaptable to client and project changesBehavior-Driven Development (BDD) (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow)SDET: Advacned programming Good understanding of custom exception, intermediate level in linq , dependency injection and lose coupling to increase testability.
