Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist – ELV Systems

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to deliver world‑class sourcing solutions that directly support business growth, profitability, and competitiveness within Egypt. This is a senior individual contributor role with end‑to‑end responsibility across the sourcing lifecycle—from opportunity and pre‑award through post‑award execution.The role requires deep ELV systems sourcing experience, strong market knowledge in Egypt, and an established network of suppliers and subcontractors that can be immediately leveraged to drive commercial advantage.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Deliver competitive, scalable sourcing solutions that support opportunity win‑rates and project execution.Drive measurable financial outcomes, including cost savings, margin improvement, and pre‑/post‑award working capital optimization.Develop and execute sourcing strategies for ELV systems aligned to business and project requirements.Independently manage commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, including pricing, terms, payment structures, and risk allocation.Leverage strong local market knowledge in Egypt to manage supply risk, pricing volatility, and capacity constraints.Engage closely with sales, engineering, finance, and operations to ensure sourcing decisions enable growth and profitability.Support continuous improvement of sourcing policies, tools, and processes.Utilize SAP ERP (preferred) and sourcing tools such as RFx and e‑auction platforms to drive transparency and competitiveness.QualificationsYou must have:5+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing / procurement, ideally within a multinational environment (e.g., Honeywell or similar).Strong hands‑on experience sourcing ELV systems in a contractor or project‑based environment.Proven knowledge of the Egyptian ELV supplier and subcontractor market, with an active professional network.Demonstrated track record of delivering quantifiable cost savings and commercial value.We ValueStrong commercial judgement, analytical capability, and negotiation skills.Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field.SAP ERP experience preferred; exposure to digital sourcing tools is a plus.About UsHoneywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
