The Senior Technical Designer will translate design concepts and client requirements into accurate technical drawings, specifications, and construction details. Responsibilities include reviewing design briefs, coordinating with architects, project managers, and site teams, and ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with building standards. The role involves creating and updating technical documentation, overseeing fitting and construction details, and resolving design issues during project execution. The Senior Technical Designer will also contribute to process improvements, mentor junior team members, and support quality control across assigned projects.Key Responsibilities• Prepare detailed construction documentation and technical drawing packages.• Translate design concepts into coordinated and buildable technical solutions.• Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, specifications, and BOQs.• Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout project development.• Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.• Resolve technical and coordination issues during project development.• Participate in technical coordination meetings and site visits when required.• Support and mentor Junior Technical Designers.• Ensure all deliverables meet studio standards and project requirements.What We're Looking For• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.• Strong portfolio demonstrating technical design and project delivery experience.• Proven experience preparing construction documentation packages, specifications, schedules, and BOQs.• Strong expertise in interior fit-out detailing, joinery detailing, ceiling coordination, and material detailing.• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and interior fit-out systems.• Experience coordinating architectural drawings with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-current systems.• Ability to identify and resolve technical and coordination issues.• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.• Strong understanding of documentation standards, quality control, and project coordination.• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and spoken English.Preferred Qualifications• Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, workplace, retail, or commercial interior projects.• Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination.• Experience with site coordination and technical inspections.• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity and documentation tools.
