Job DescriptionJob title: SENIOR TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERLocation: Cairo, EgyptJob reference #: 33406Contract type: PermanentLanguage requirements: English (intermediate level)At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Telecommunication Engineer within EniProgetti Egypt Ltd. in Cairo.Main ResponsibilitiesLead the discipline project team to ensure effective execution of Telecommunication, Instrumentation and Automation activitiesVerify the accuracy of calculations and analyses from both technical and procedural perspectivesEnsure compliance with project philosophies, specifications, standards, laws, safety requirements and best practicesDefine and implement technical solutions aligned with project objectives, incorporating lessons learned from previous projectsSupport the Engineering Manager in finalising the project execution plan and during cost estimation activitiesPrepare, verify and issue discipline and multidisciplinary documents, ensuring effective interface management and information exchange with contractors and other disciplinesManage and supervise engineering contractors during design, procurement and construction phases, ensuring compliance with contract and quality requirementsReview contractor design deliverables for telecommunication, instrumentation, automation and control systemsProvide technical support to commissioning and production start-up activitiesContribute to technical studies and Basis of Design for onshore and offshore production and processing facilitiesDefine Telecommunication, Instrumentation and Automation requirements and applicable engineering standards, taking account of environmental and logistical conditionsSupport 3D model reviews and related follow-up activitiesOptimise installation and construction sequences to minimise cost and safety risksParticipate in client meetings, process safety reviews and multidisciplinary project reviewsProvide guidance, supervision and mentoring to junior engineersEnsure application of the Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycleEnsure full compliance with national HSE legislation and company HSE policies, promoting a safe and healthy workplaceSkills And Experience RequiredUniversity degree in EngineeringExtensive experience in Telecommunication, Automation and Instrumentation engineering for oil and gas facilitiesExperience across all project phases, including feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering and construction supervisionExperience in both onshore and offshore projectsStrong experience with telecommunication systems, including fibre optic networks, PABX, PAGA, CCTV, FPSO telecom systems, IP and VLAN planningGood knowledge of automation systemsExperience in renewable energy is an advantageHow To ApplyApplications are only accepted through our online application systemPlease upload your CV in EnglishAbout EniEni is a global energy company operating in 61 Countries, with over 30,000 employees.
