The team values professionalism, customer satisfaction, and a passion for discovery.Role Description The Senior Tour Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The person in this role will design and manage tour packages, including creating itineraries, coordinating services with local and international suppliers, and ensuring all arrangements align with client expectations. Daily responsibilities include handling reservations, preparing travel documents, monitoring bookings, and resolving any issues that arise before or during trips. The Senior Tour Operator will liaise with Leisure groups and corporate MICE clients, support guided tour operations, and provide timely information and support to travelers. This role also involves collaborating with the sales team to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, and help convert leads into confirmed bookings while maintaining high standards of customer service.QualificationsStrong experience in Travel & Tourism, including destination knowledge and tour planning for individual and group travelers.Proficiency in handling Reservations and booking systems, with attention to accuracy and timelines.Demonstrated skills in Customer Service, with the ability to manage expectations, handle complaints, and support travelers throughout their journey.Background in Sales, including preparing quotations, negotiating with partners, and supporting revenue growth for tour and MICE packages.Familiarity with Guided Tours operations, including coordinating tour leaders/guides and ensuring high-quality on-the-ground experiences.Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to handle multiple itineraries and deadlines.Proficient in standard office software and online travel tools5 years experience in a senior or lead tour operator role, especially within Leisure group travel, is highly desirable.
