Job SummaryThe Senior Treasury Officer is responsible for managing the company’s treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, Letters of Credit (LC), and Letters of Guarantee (LG). The role ensures efficient liquidity management, compliance with banking regulations, and support for trade finance activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCash Management & Banking RelationshipManage daily cash positions, monitor bank balances, and bank reconciliationMaintain strong relationships with banksNegotiate banking facilities, fees, and chargesCoordinate for credit lines, overdrafts, and trade finance facilitiesLetters of Credit (LC)Handle issuance, amendment, negotiation, and closure of import/export LCsEnsure compliance with UCP 600 and internal policiesCoordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal departments on LC documentationReview LC documents to ensure accuracy and timely processingLetters of Guarantee (LG)Arrange issuance, renewal, amendment, and cancellation of bank guaranteesMaintain records and monitor expiry dates of all guaranteesEnsure compliance with contractual and banking requirements Qualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldProfessional certifications (CTP, CFA, or similar) are an advantageExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in treasury or financeStrong hands-on experience with Letters of Credit (LC) and Letters of Guarantee (LG)Experience working with banks and trade finance instrumentsSkillsStrong knowledge of treasury operations and banking proceduresGood understanding of international trade financeExcellent analytical and negotiation skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Banking systems
