You will lead technical decisions, optimize performance, and ensure best practices across all WordPress projects.Responsibilities- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins- Customize existing themes and plugins based on business needs- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO- Ensure website security and best practices- Troubleshoot and fix bugs and technical issues- Collaborate with designers and marketing team- Lead and mentor junior developers when neededRequirements- Strong experience with WordPress development (Themes & Plugins)- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)- Good understanding of SEO best practices- Experience with website performance optimization- Familiarity with REST APIs- Strong problem-solving skillsNice to Have- Experience with WooCommerce- Knowledge of Git and version control- Familiarity with hosting, domains, and deployment- Experience working in Agile environmentsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
