This role is responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparing orders, packing products according to quality and safety standards, and arranging shipments with carriers. The Shipping Specialist will verify incoming and outgoing materials, ensure accurate documentation, and update inventory records in coordination with the warehouse team. Day-to-day tasks also include operating material-handling equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and organized shipping area, and collaborating with production and logistics staff to meet delivery timelines. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to company policies and regulations, and a strong focus on workplace safety.Qualifications Experience in Shipping & Receiving and Shipping, including handling documentation, labels, and coordination with carriers.Proficiency in Packing procedures to ensure products are protected and meet quality standards.Capability in Forklift Operation or other material-handling equipment, with a commitment to safe operating practices.Knowledge of Inventory Control processes, including tracking stock levels and reconciling records.Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with safety guidelines.Strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and basic computer literacy.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in logistics or warehousing is an advantage.
