Spanning 950 km, this project is part of the broader Egypt National Railways Projects and aims to enhance the safety standards, increase the number of passenger trains, and boost freight capacity.Today, we are recruiting for a Signaling Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Egypt. Perform commissioning activities for railway systems, components, software, and technical solutions at installation sites.Analyze system performance, execute testing activities, and document commissioning results and reports.Plan and coordinate commissioning activities while ensuring timely execution and compliance with project requirements.Support system optimization through parameter settings and technical adjustments when required.Conduct customer handover activities and provide technical briefings and training to customer personnel.Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards while maintaining a safe working environment on site.Report site issues that may lead to claims or change orders and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.Collaborate with project teams and, where required, provide functional guidance to commissioning personnel on site.What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, or a related field.Up to 1 year of engineering experience in testing, commissioning, or field activities within the railway industry (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).Strong interest in rail technologies and sustainable mobility solutions.Willingness to learn Siemens-specific software and hardware platforms.Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a flexible and reliable working style.Comfortable using digital tools including laptops, tablets, and engineering applications.Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.What else do I need to know?As a world leader in developing and producing the most advanced technologies, we improve lives and further human achievements worldwide, while also protecting the climate - all thanks to our employees.
