The company serves clients across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.Role Description The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities and ensuring that work is executed according to design, quality, and safety standards. This role coordinates with project managers, architects, consultants, and contractors to monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and keep the project aligned with timelines and budgets. The Site Engineer reviews drawings and specifications, checks materials and workmanship, and conducts regular inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with relevant codes. Responsibilities also include preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, and communicating project status and risks to stakeholders. The role requires a proactive presence on site to anticipate challenges, support the project team, and uphold Plinth + Partners’ standards of excellence.QualificationsStrong on-site supervision skills, with proven experience managing daily construction activities and coordinating multiple trades on site.Background in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients, and to document and report site progress clearly.Experience implementing quality control procedures, including inspections, testing coordination, and verification of compliance with project standards and local regulations.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; membership in a professional engineering body is an advantage.Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and site HSE practices; commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools) and the ability to work with digital drawings and documentation.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced project environment.
