The company’s vision is to help build a brighter future by harmonizing built environments with the surrounding landscape.Role Description The Sr. Technical Office BIM Mechanical Engineer will oversee and coordinate the mechanical engineering aspects of building information models (BIM) for complex construction projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Marsa Matrouh and involves preparing, reviewing, and updating mechanical BIM models and related technical documentation. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil and electrical disciplines, validating mechanical design against project specifications, and supporting the creation and review of shop drawings and BOQs. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, site engineers, and other technical teams to ensure constructability, resolve clashes, and maintain alignment with project timelines and quality standards. The engineer will also support value engineering efforts, ensure adherence to codes and regulations, and contribute to technical problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.Job purpose: • Responsible for producing high quality project shop drawing deliverables in construction.Main Responsibilities:Issue the shop drawings/composite drawings for all buildings Architectural/Mechanical/Electrical/structural work as per the time schedule and submit to section head for review.Review the engineering outsourced work when received to be fully coordinated with high quality Coordinate with other department’s team for the trades that affect the shop drawing submission to submit fully coordinated with high quality to achieve site progress according to their requirements.Notify the section head for variation orders during the shop drawing stage according to the consultant comments or RFI reply to save project’s time & cost in case of any modification or new requirements from consultant affecting the SD.Issuing RFIs/RFPs for any discrepancies or conflict in IFC Package for all projects in order to Facilitate T.O.T to arrange SD & Site Team during installation or construct.Issue BIM model or upgrade the existing BIM model to a level of detailing for buildings (Arch.) work as per time schedule for all projects in order to Facilitate T.O.T, recognize clashes & solve them during the process of arranging SD.Review & Co-ordinate the engineering of sub-contractor work (shop drawings) to maintain high quality.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.5-7 years of experience in BIM, Technical Office, or Shop Drawings for building projects.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, shop drawings, and multidisciplinary coordination.Experience in reviewing and coordinating subcontractor shop drawings.Familiarity with RFIs, variation orders, and IFC drawings.Understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project schedules.Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
