Core services include engineering consultancy, architectural and civil design, MEP systems, project management, and quality assurance.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Structural Design Engineer will develop and review structural designs and drawings for buildings and infrastructure projects in coordination with architectural, MEP, and project management teams. Responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing and revising CAD and AutoCAD models, and ensuring designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role also involves preparing technical reports, design documentation, and bills of quantities, as well as supporting site teams with design clarifications and resolving technical issues during construction. The engineer will participate in design reviews, value engineering, and quality assurance activities to help deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions.Qualifications Strong knowledge and practical experience in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis for buildings and related structures.Background in Civil Engineering with understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant design codes.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including AutoCAD, for producing and modifying structural drawings and models.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Experience in structural design for consulting or contracting firms; familiarity with international and local building codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocodes) is an advantage.Ability to interpret architectural, MEP, and shop drawings and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, with attention to detail and design accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.Professional certifications or progress toward engineering licensure/registration are considered beneficial.
