Job PurposeDeliver safe, economic structural designs and design reviews for the company's projects: analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures, value-engineering of consultant designs, and technical resolution of site structural issues — in full compliance with the Egyptian Code (ECP).2. Key ResponsibilitiesAnalysis & DesignModel, analyze, and design RC structures (raft/pile foundations, retaining walls, slabs, cores) using ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE.Produce design calculation packages and design drawings; supervise drafting of structural sheets and BBS.Review and value-engineer consultant designs; quantify rebar/concrete savings while preserving safety factors.Technical Review & Site SupportReview structural shop drawings before submission; approve BBS against design intent.Resolve site structural issues: openings, strengthening, repair methodologies, and concrete quality concerns (with lab reports).Assess modification requests (client changes, MEP openings) and issue structural clearances.Standards & MentoringKeep design templates and spreadsheets updated to the latest ECP provisions.Mentor junior engineers; check their models and calculations.3. Qualifications & ExperienceB.Sc. in Civil/Structural Engineering; M.Sc. a plus; Engineers Syndicate membership.5+ years structural design in consultancies or contractor design offices; buildings portfolio (residential/mixed-use).Expert command of Egyptian Code (ECP 203) — ACI familiarity a plus.Good English; clear technical reporting.5.
