The organization values professionalism, ethical business practices, and long-term relationships with medical institutions.Role Description Surgical Account Manager is a full-time, responsible for managing and growing relationships with ophthalmic surgery centers, hospitals, and clinics. This role involves presenting and promoting surgical product portfolios, conducting product demonstrations, and providing in-theatre support where appropriate. The Surgical Account Manager will monitor sales performance, prepare account plans, and follow up on orders, tenders, and inventory to ensure timely product availability. The role includes regular visits to customers, identifying new business opportunities, addressing clinical and commercial inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams on pricing, forecasts, and market intelligence. The individual will also support training and education activities for healthcare professionals and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Area Cairo, Delta & Upper EgyptQualificationsProven experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales, preferably in ophthalmology or surgical products.Strong account management skills, including territory planning, customer relationship building, and sales pipeline management.Ability to deliver effective product presentations, clinical discussions, and in-theatre or procedural support when needed.Solid understanding of healthcare market dynamics, hospital purchasing processes, and tender management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused and ethical approach.Comfort with data analysis, reporting, and use of CRM and productivity tools to track activities and outcomes.Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and travel within the assigned territory.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline).Previous experience working with ophthalmic surgeons or surgical teams is a strong advantage.Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, and a valid driver’s license.
