Taxation Specialist

Purpose of the Job: To Ensure full compliance with tax laws by accurately preparing, reviewing, and submitting all corporate income tax and VAT filings in a timely manner. Act as the company’s key point of coordination with tax authorities, auditors, and internal teams to manage tax risks, support audits, and stay ahead of any regulatory changes.Responsibilities and Duties:Prepare and review annual corporate income tax returns in accordance with applicable tax laws.Prepare and submit monthly Value Added Tax (VAT) returns and ensure timely payment.Review sales and purchase invoices to ensure proper tax treatment and compliance.Monitor and reconcile input VAT balances, including refundable or deductible taxes.Ensure full compliance with tax filing and payment deadlines to avoid penalties.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to the finance management.Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax examinations.Communicate with the Egyptian Tax Authority and other relevant governmental entities.Provide tax-related support and guidance to other departments as needed.Handle tax filings and submissions through the Egyptian Tax Authority electronic system based on SAP.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting / Finance) or equivalent.Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in taxation (depending on company size and business nature).Strong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws (Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax).Good knowledge of tax regulations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Previous experience in tax audits or tax inspections is preferred.Skills and Abilities:Proficiency English Language, both spoken and writtenHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Effective communication and coordination skills.High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
