This role supports a CFO-sponsored initiative focused on digitising and optimising the tracking of cost and utilisation across the Digital & IT resource base. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance and delivery teams to enhance cost predictability, improve resource efficiency, and ensure accurate reporting through robust governance and data-driven insights.What you will do:Own end-to-end cost and resource utilisation analysis, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timelinessProduce regular reporting packs highlighting cost drivers, variances, risks, and optimisation opportunitiesSupport budgeting, forecasting, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes in collaboration with FinanceMaintain and enhance digital frameworks for tracking IT resource costs and utilisationConduct trend analysis and scenario modelling to support investment decisions and cost efficiencyAct as a key interface between Technology, Finance, and Delivery teams to resolve data and cost-related queriesEnsure adherence to financial governance, controls, and audit requirementsValidate and reconcile data from multiple sources to maintain a single source of truthTranslate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for varied audiencesIdentify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and data quality improvementsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling, reporting standards, and frameworksWho you are:Must have:3–5 years of relevant experience in cost control, financial analysis, or reporting rolesStrong financial governance and reporting capabilityUnderstanding of accruals, prepayments, and forecasting processesSolid commercial awareness and business acumenStrong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and solve problemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a structured and organised mannerEffective communication and stakeholder engagement skills across cross-functional and global teamsExperience in budget tracking and financial data managementNice to have:Experience working within IT or telecommunications environmentsFamiliarity with SAP financial and purchasing systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Power Platform toolsExposure to vendor management or purchasing environmentsNot a Perfect Fit?:Concerned you may not meet every requirement?
