Technical Architect – Events Management AgencyJob SummaryThe Technical Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing all technical aspects of live events, exhibitions, conferences, corporate activations, and entertainment productions. This role ensures seamless integration of audiovisual systems, staging, lighting, video, broadcast, networking, and event technologies while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Design & Planning* Develop technical concepts and solutions based on client requirements and event objectives.* Create detailed technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and production documentation.* Design stage, audiovisual, lighting, LED, rigging, and power distribution solutions.* Review venue specifications and conduct site inspections to assess technical feasibility.Project Management* Collaborate with Account Managers, Producers, Creative Teams, and Operations departments during project planning and execution.* Develop technical budgets, equipment lists, and resource allocation plans.* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectations.* Manage technical timelines and oversee all production milestones.Technical Leadership* Lead technical teams including AV engineers, lighting operators, video technicians, stage managers, and external suppliers.* Provide technical guidance during setup, rehearsals, live event execution, and dismantling.* Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions under tight deadlines.Innovation & Technology* Research and evaluate emerging event technologies and production solutions.* Recommend innovative technical approaches to enhance audience engagement and event experiences.* Maintain knowledge of industry trends, equipment advancements, and best practices.Compliance & Safety* Ensure all technical installations comply with venue regulations, local authorities, and safety standards.* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.* Oversee proper testing and quality control of all technical systems before event launch.Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Event Technology, Production Management, or a related field.* Minimum 2–5 years of experience in technical production, event technology, or live event operations.* Strong understanding of audiovisual systems, lighting, staging, LED technologies, networking, and power requirements.* Experience with CAD software, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, or similar technical design tools.* Knowledge of rigging standards and event safety regulations.Skills & Competencies* Strong technical and engineering mindset.* Excellent project management and organizational skills.* Leadership and team management abilities.* Budget planning and cost control.* Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.* Strong communication and client-facing skills.* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Location ( New Cairo & El Marg)Office-based with frequent travel to event venues, exhibition centers, hotels, and outdoor event locations.
