Metal Production Engineer

Work Location:10th Of Ramadan, EgyptMain Purpose Of The JobThe metal production engineer makes sure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently. He/she works closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets, and make sure the finished products meet quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesControls, troubleshoots, and handles metals workshop operations.Optimizes production technician & machine utilization to achieve production targets.Continuous improvement in increasing productivity, reducing costs, and improving the performance of technicians & machines.Follow up on the scrap ratios and reports.Daily follow-up on the production rates for the metals production department.Submitting purchasing requests promptly to the purchasing department based on material needs.Monitors product technical standards and implements quality-control programs.Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.Ensures that health and safety guidelines are followed & maintains a clean and safe work environment.Reviews the processing schedules and production orders to coordinate the inventory requirements.Communicating continuously and effectively with the different departments (purchasing, sales, etc.) to follow up on the implementation of the production plan and delivery within the required timelines.Studying and proposing ways to improve quality standards and manufacturing processes.Participate with the metals product director to study making any new metal product.Reviews the operations with technical and administrative staff to resolve any production problems.Reviews production reports to analyze and enhance performance and quality.Recommends procedures for equipment maintenance, including the replacement of machines.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in metal manufacturing.Job Requirement:Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, preferably in metalworking.Years of Experience: 2-5 years of experience.Language: Arabic & English.Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP system.Technical competencies:Strong knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processesProven skill and demonstrated application of lean in a manufacturing environment.Read and comprehend engineering drawings and other technical documents.Knowledge about electricity and cables.
