Technical Lead / Senior Technical Engineer .
Technical Leadership: Lead a specific discipline team (Structural & Bridge or Utilities & Roads).
Supervise intermediate and junior engineers in design development and drafting tasks.
2. Project Coordination: - Coordinate technical instructions with UAE project teams and the Technical Manager.
- Ensure deliverables meet project requirements and deadlines.
3. Drawing Review and Approval: - Check and approve complex construction drawings, details.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international codes (Eurocode, BS, AASHTO, DM, RTA, DEWA).
4. Mentoring and Development: - Coach mid- and junior-level engineers in drafting standards and technical problemsolving.
- Promote continuous improvement in technical quality and workflow efficiency.
5. Quality Assurance Support: - Implement and monitor discipline-specific drafting standards and internal review procedures.
- Identify and correct technical errors in outputs before submission.
6. Reporting:Report team progress, resource needs, and technical challenges to the Technical Manager.
Job Special Requirements 1.
Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering.
2. Experience:- 8–12 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience leading a technical team or working as a discipline lead.
- Experience with overseas projects or Middle East infrastructure projects preferred.
3. Technical Skills:- Proficient in structural design, bridge engineering, underground works, or municipal utilities design.
- Solid knowledge of construction drawings, detailing, and coordination.
- Familiar with UAE project requirements and international standards.
4. Software Proficiency:AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and design review tools.
5. Management & Leadership:- Ability to supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of 5–10 engineers.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- English proficiency, both written and spoken.
6. Personal Attributes:- Detail-oriented, accountable, and proactive.
- Able to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Team player with leadership presence and cross-cultural adaptability.
