Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Office Engineer - Furniture role located in Maadi, Cairo. The Technical Office Engineer will prepare and review detailed shop drawings for furniture and interior elements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications. The role includes developing and updating bills of quantities (BOQ), coordinating with design, production, and site teams, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities also involve checking measurements, validating material requirements, resolving technical issues, and contributing to cost estimates and project documentation. The Technical Office Engineer will help ensure that designs are practical, buildable, and meet quality standards and client expectations.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in preparing and reviewing shop drawings for furniture and interior works.Candidates should possess skills in developing, analyzing, and updating BOQ for materials and quantities.Candidates should possess skills in Quantity Surveying for cost estimation, quantity verification, and budget tracking.Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.Experience in furniture manufacturing, interior fit-out, or technical office work is highly beneficial.Proficiency in CAD and other design or drafting software, along with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
