This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing international team in a technically challenging, customer-facing role.📋 Role OverviewAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will serve as a primary point of contact for enterprise customers across the globe. You will troubleshoot complex network security environments, contribute to the support knowledge base, and collaborate closely with R&D, Delivery, and Product Management teams. This is a 24x7 support operation requiring flexibility with working hours.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver technical support to enterprise customers and partners via email, phone, and web-based sessions, assisting with product installation, day-to-day operations, and issue resolution.Maintain and enrich the internal knowledge base, contributing to the ongoing development of the support organisation.Introduce and refine support methodologies and tools to enhance service delivery.Collaborate effectively with global support teams, as well as cross-functional departments including Engineering, Delivery, and Product Management.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar technical support role within a software company.Solid working knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments.Hands-on experience with firewall administration and configuration (e.g., Check Point, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or equivalent).Background in supporting network security software solutions.Self-motivated, resourceful, and solution-oriented, able to manage complex issues independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.Quick learner with the ability to absorb and apply new technical knowledge efficiently.Collaborative team player with a professional attitude and strong personal integrity.Ability to remain composed under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Flexibility to work irregular hours in support of a global 24x7 customer base.Nice to HaveDemonstrated experience supporting customers in the Middle East (ME) region.Exposure to SRE or DevOps practices.Familiarity with Linux scripting languages such as PERL or shell scripting.This role is placed through Antal International, a specialist executive search firm.
