Job Overview:The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for planning, technical support, and execution of Well Services and rigless operations across Egypt. The role supports the initial sales phase by developing technical and commercial proposals, ensuring solutions are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with client requirements.Post-award, the engineer leads project planning and operational coordination with country operations teams to ensure safe, timely, and efficient execution while maintaining strong client engagement.Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with HSE policies and quality standards Develop and review technical and commercial proposals Plan and coordinate rigless and well Thu-Tubing intervention operations Provide engineering and operational support (office & field) Prepare SOPs, job programs, and procedures Participate in HAZID/HAZOP, DWOP, and planning meetings Monitor operations and optimize performance in real time Coordinate with sales, applications, and operations teams Maintain client communication throughout project lifecycle Conduct post-job analysis, reporting, and lessons learned Deliver technical presentations and reports Travel for field support and critical operations Skills:Strong knowledge of rig-less operations and Thru-Tubing intervention techniques Very good understanding of Well designs, completions and production stringsExperience in technical & commercial proposal preparation Ability to manage full job lifecycle (planning to execution) Strong understanding of downhole tools and operational processes Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software Ability to work in team environments and manage multiple projects Knowledge of Thru-Tubing operations (milling, jarring, inflatables, CT, cleanout) Experience with Thru-Tubing software and BHA design Exposure to onshore and offshore operations Experience in rig-less installations and intervention solutions Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum preferred) Minimum 4+ years of experience in Well Services / Rig-less operations Experience in Coiled tubing, Slickline or E-line conveyanceExperience in end-to-end job execution (planning to intervention) Proven involvement in project management or multi-project support Fluent in English (written and verbal) Willingness to travel to remote, offshore, and international locations Legal authorization to work in the region Experience in technical/commercial proposal development Hands-on experience with Thru-Tubing and well intervention tools Background in rigless installations and well intervention solutions#LI-MD1
