For more information, visit us at www.amideast.org.Position DescriptionThe Testing Specialist is responsible for the successful and cost-effective implementation of Amideast Testing programs: ETS: CMD, SAT, PROMETRIC and Miscellaneous tests effectively as per the set policies and procedures. S/he plays an active role in providing customer service and strong public relationship with institutions (schools, academies, universities, and corporates) and create public awareness of Amideast’s testing services in the community.S/he will support registration, administration, training; contacting Proctors, Test Center Administrators (TCAs), Test Center Supervisors (TCSs), tracks documents and forms and update databases; complete reporting documentation; consistently ensure that that testing quality and security standards are met; and will actively interact with all stakeholders in a professional and positive manner and all associated logistics.ResponsibilitiesSupport testing department members in all projects & tasks assignedPerform actively in cross-functional projects teamwork tasksLearn all testing product knowledge and act as testing resource for all projectsHandle testing unit duties (test registrations, back-office work & results)Comply with all procedures set forth by the various international test regulations & client’s agreementHandles onsite & offsite test administrationsMaintain excellent relationship with all stakeholders including schools, academies, universities, and corporatesSupervise Test Center Administrators (TCAs), Test Center Supervisors (TCSs), and Proctors. Support in scheduling their assignmentsRegisters candidates for paper and pencil examinations and computer-based examinations by accurately collecting, entering, and verifying candidate information and payment informationReceive, verify test materials, and securely store them till test dateHandles all filling system & maintain organized track for storage inventoryScore, and distribute test scoresHandle local registration, confirmation with test takers and candidate complaints courteously and promptlyMonitor the usage and expiration of voucher logs for local registration of international testsComplete PROMETRIC certification and pass certification exam annuallyAct as Prometric TCA when neededSupport in preparing accurate data for invoice, annual business plan, budget, etcRespond promptly to testing inquiries and provide information about various testing programs to candidatesActs as test day supervisor in Institutional TOEFL and TOEIC examinations for internal and external clients and takes all required security precautions according to set rules & regulations to maintain test securityWork in remote proctoring project for TOEIC and TOEFL Exams. Handle 2 roles proctor and administrator Schedule TOEIC public exams with ETS according to set deadlines and arrange and proctor test administrations.Handle online shopping cart and ensure test takers are registered, rescheduled to proper exams, ensure refunds are processed, extract rosters for online registrations, update test policiesSubmit a full report following any event or testing administration regarding policy violations and any issue that occur during the test administrationDistributes TOEFL, TOEIC and SAT scoreCreate additional score reports and mail them to institutionsAssist in the preparation and distribution of SAT scoresCoordinate none ETS paper-based exams, online exam activities, and arrange for test events including their staffing and work closely with the client to meet and exceed customer service levels and maintain test security and integrityComplete departmental forms by thoroughly and accurately documenting information to provide quality serviceRecords and prepares accurate monthly statisticsAttend ETS & Amideast H.Q meetings, training & callsProvide backup support for Testing Unit Representatives during peak hours, shifts and staff absenceHandle work tasks and responsibilities independently and with minimal supervisionWork closely with several internal departments & grantHandles all escalated calls in a professional and positive mannerIdentify customer issues and concerns and respond where neededRequiredQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBachelor’s degree in any relevant fieldMinimum of 3 - 7 years of work experience preferably in the field of Education/ administrationHigh language proficiency in both Arabic and EnglishVery good email writing skillsVery good speaking skills OrganisedProject management skills with precise attention to detail, planning, organizing, and ability to work under time pressureStrong decision making and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle complaints and difficult situationsMust be available to work in afternoons/evenings and weekends, for the announced exam dates when requested and as needed.
