This position is responsible for translating medical and administrative documents from French to other working languages and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and appropriate use of medical terminology. The role includes interpreting during patient consultations, meetings, and calls, facilitating clear communication between healthcare professionals and French-speaking clients. The Translator will review and revise translated materials, maintain terminology databases, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to clarify meanings and context. The position also involves supporting staff with language-related inquiries and contributing to the development of communication guidelines and multilingual materials.Qualifications Strong French Translation and general Translation skills, with the ability to produce accurate, clear, and context-appropriate translations.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information understandably to both medical staff and patients.Proficiency in managing Terminology, especially medical and healthcare-related terms, and maintaining consistent usage across documents.Interpreting experience in professional settings, preferably in healthcare or medical environments.Fluency in French and at least one additional working language (such as English or Arabic), with strong reading, writing, and speaking abilities.Knowledge of basic medical concepts and documentation formats; prior experience in a medical or clinical setting is an advantage.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple translation and interpreting tasks concurrently.Ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams and maintain confidentiality regarding patient and organizational information.Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
