If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.Role PurposePlanning & Design for VF-EG transport network to ensure best network quality and best customer experience.Key Accountabilities & Decision OwnershipManaging rollout & integration of backhaul IP nodes from both technical & Management perspectivesPreparing scripts &Managing IP configurations/migrations over Backhaul Routers while ensuring best customer experience & resilienceManage & align all project activities across different stakeholders inside & outside VodafoneResponsible for building & maintaining Project plans for assigned projects along with reporting both progress & challengesMonitor transmission stock and hardware release from TX warehouseResponsible for managing penetration of the IP/MPLS in the backhaul networkCatering for the transmission capacity needed for the anticipated traffic growth according to VFE key priorities and strategy (leading in voice & data)Responsible for automation of IP scripts needed for new projectsRollout for new technologies and solutions to be introduced within VFEG transport domainCore Competencies, Knowledge, and ExperienceMinimum of 2 years; post qualification experience in the Transmission and IP field (Preferable in Backhaul Domain)Strong knowledge of the IP MW, IP/MPLS/Ethernet technologiesGood knowledge & experience in python/other programming languagesGood knowledge & experience in SDN and other related technologies is a plusFull awareness with the Transport products and vendorsMS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Access)Stakeholder management capabilitiesGood interpersonal & communication skillsSelf-motivated and high time management ability.Creative thinking to provide out of the box solutionAbility to work well under pressure.Ability to learn and self-study Must have technical / professional qualifications: BSC. in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronic EngineeringCertifications in IP such as CCNA and CCNP or equivalent is a MustWho we areWe are a leading international Telco, serving millions of customers.
