Job PurposeAssist the Treasury Sales team to meet all targets required.Responsible for actively servicing a portfolio of clients, proactively update on FX rates and market development.Helps develop daily reporting, products and sales tracking procedures for Treasury sales team.Promote Treasury products and services.Identifies and converts cross-selling and new treasury sales opportunities.Actively participates in joint client and prospect calls and presentations with Relationship Managers and other front office functions.High frequency co-ordination with the bank’s front office teams (Corporate, SMEs and Retail) in order to maximize and standardize the cross-selling activities and diversify income drivers for the treasury sales and the bank in general.Introduce new treasury products to stake holders both internally and externally.Interbank trading to leverage the interbank FX book to consistently offer the best rates to clients in the market.Keep all client’s mandates and limits updated.Co-ordinate closely with the Risk Management Function.Ensure full compliance with both internal and external regulatory and compliance guidelines.Main accountabilities Revenue and Business DevelopmentCustomer sales: pricing on BAU treasury products, FX spot/forwardsCustomer visits alongside RM: devise solutions to customers’ financial needs, which may include off-the-shelf products, as well as derivative solutions. Treasury ambassador to the client. FX Spot pricing/dealingFX Forwards pricing/dealingClient visits/Retail Branch visits/analyzing customer portfolioCustomer Strategy discussion with RM/obtaining client dealing limitsScoping out and developing potential opportunities for Risk Management Products Working with Treasurer/EM on interbank strategy/limitsLead on frequently conducting customer outside calls, to generate new to bank business opportunities.Strategy and Transformation Manage strong relationship with client vis-à-vis treasury products. Manage Customer stakeholders (RMs/RB product heads/Credit Risk Dept./Finance) Manage Bar cap flows (in active market they are a key player)Risk ManagementEnsure business flows are within approved sanctioned limits and to optimize revenue.Proactively manage client risk exposures while adhering to local regulations and ensuring group regulations are adhered to.Safe Guard the bank from any regulatory breaches, by being abreast of all new regulations released, and identify risks arising from day to day activities.Ensure cross-functional roles are clearly communicated and roles and duties are adhered to across all functions to ensure best practice.Technical skills:Sharp interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skillsGeneral understanding of treasury products and services Strong understanding of banking products across different channels (Corporate/SMEs & Retail)Wallet-sizing sales strategies. Proficient in leveraging RMs/branches to widen cross-selling scope.Sharp analytical and numerical skills.Competencies:AgilityCustomers FocusCommunication with impactProblem solving & InnovationLeadershipKnowledge, Expertise and ExperienceQualifications/ Experience:Essential Bachelor degree in relevant discipline with 3-4 years of experience in Egyptian/Middle East market in a sales driven roleGovernance and Control.Proficiency in English Language.Higher University Degree holder.A full understanding of the policies, processes and ethical issues surrounding Treasury business.Demonstrates a reasonable understanding of interest rate and foreign exchange products and ability to explain these products in non-technical language to clients.Conceptual grasp of macro/microeconomics, Central Bank policy instruments and drivers of government economic policesFluency in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasize on presentation and spreadsheet abilities.Qualifications/ExpertiseUnderstanding of the workings of the Corporate, SMEs and Retail banking operations and products;Proven ability to pro-actively manage client relationships through on-site visits, presentations and continuous communication.Strong experience in client facing role.Knowledge and expertise with key clients and their needs in this marketACI accreditation within one year of the hiring date Proven ability of handling fast-paced work environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic. PreferredPost graduate degree in business/finance/economics.Fluency in French will be a plus.Academic/business knowledge of the financial derivatives.
