Loan Processing Officer / Senior Officer

Job PurposeThe role holder will be responsible for the following Operations services/functions:The role holder will deliver world-class service in supporting the business and act as a role model by consistently demonstrating powerful leadership both in terms of behaviors and actions.Handling a variety of transactions through a number of our bank applications specially designed for those purposes accurately, efficiently within agreed TAT.Handling all the transactions and modifications activity related to loans processing Achieve operational rigor excellence in all aspects of activities, processes and procedures undertaken.Main accountabilitiesAccountability: Business / Service Management Responsible to initiate all types of transactions & modifications related to LPU (pay off/ partial pay off/ change cycle/ write off/ recall/ cheques collection/ refund/ transfer/ letters issuance)Act as the first line of defense in any non- compliant or illegal requests submitted to the department.Respond to perform each & every type of modifications that related to LPU.Provide any enchantment either in system or in day-to-day process.Handling any complaints received in accordance with procedures. Meet governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirementsEnsure that all received requests are done within agreed TAT and processed same date of receipt if it received before cut off time.Giving special attention to the suspicious transactions if any.Monitor & follow up requests received from any stakeholder on a daily basis Prepare daily, weekly and monthly statistics for the department.Ensure that the loans processing is delivering the required support and service within the agreed timescaleWork closely with Loans Processing Manager & Local Operations Manager to ensure that customers are delighted with service levels.Work with business partners and drive performance against SLA’s/Targets/Audit reports etc., and seek innovative solutions to improve performance and achieve the Operations goals.Through effective controls and quality audits/sampling ensure that risk is identified and appropriate procedures are put in place to mitigate risk/reduce losses to the bank.Ensure that the loans processing are delivering the required support and service.Accountability: TeamworkBuild and maintain excellent working relationships with other functions to facilitate the development of the business.Work closely with other Operations Managers to ensure a consistent delivery of service promulgating best practice without creating conflicts with policy and regulations.Work closely with other departments to ensure benefits in terms of operational efficiency are realized without degrading service.Initiate and implementing new ideas for better performance.
