The role requires strong technical editing skills, creative storytelling ability, and the capacity to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.While the position focuses primarily on video editing, videography skills (camera operation, lighting, and audio) are considered a major plus and will significantly strengthen a candidate’s profile, though they are not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, edit, and refine raw footage into high‑quality, visually compelling content.Select the best shots, create sequences, and deliver strong visual storytelling.Add music, sound effects, dialogue clean‑up, graphics, subtitles, and transitions.Perform color correction, color grading, and audio balancing.Optimize videos for various platforms (social media, web, internal use).Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and visual standards.Work closely with producers, designers, content creators, and marketing teams.Interpret briefs and contribute creative ideas to enhance storytelling.Participate in brainstorming and pre‑production discussions when required.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.Maintain organized project files, version control, and archives.Ensure smooth workflows through clear communication and feedback handling.Stay updated with emerging editing tools, trends, and techniques to elevate output quality.Key Requirements3–5 years of professional experience in video editing (media, production, or agency background preferred).Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred—not compulsory if experience is strong).Demonstrated portfolio showcasing editing creativity, pacing, and storytelling.Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (core requirement).Working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools (preferred).Solid understanding of color correction, grading, and audio clean‑up.Motion graphics skills considered a plus.Basic videography and camera operation skills (preferred but not required).Strong visual storytelling and creative thinking.Excellent attention to detail and quality.Ability to manage time and work under deadlines.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to shoot interviews, B‑roll, events, and on‑site content is a plus.Ability to operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras and basic lighting/audio setups is a plus.Knowledge of framing, exposure, and composition is a plus.
