Keytime is committed to empowering client visions through tailored technology solutions and consultation.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled VoIP Engineer with hands-on experience in FreePBX, Asterisk, SIP protocol, CRM integration, and live chat systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VoIP communication platforms while ensuring high availability and performance.Key Responsibilities* Install, configure, and maintain FreePBX and Asterisk-based telephony systems.* Manage SIP trunks, SIP endpoints, and VoIP gateways.* Troubleshoot call quality issues, routing problems, registration failures, and network-related VoIP issues.* Configure IVR, call queues, ring groups, voicemail, call recording, and failover routing.* Monitor and optimize VoIP system performance and security.* Integrate VoIP systems with CRM platforms.* Support live chat and customer communication platforms.* Analyze SIP traces using tools such as Wireshark and Asterisk logs.* Configure VPN connectivity for remote SIP devices and gateways.* Perform system backups, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.* Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.Required Skills* Strong experience with FreePBX and Asterisk.* Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, NAT, and VoIP networking.* Experience with Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux).* Knowledge of SIP trunks, FXS/FXO gateways, and IP phones.* Experience integrating VoIP systems with CRM applications.* Familiarity with live chat platforms and customer support tools.* Ability to troubleshoot VoIP issues using logs and packet captures.* Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and basic scripting (Bash, PHP, Python) is a plus.Preferred Qualifications* 2+ years of VoIP engineering experience.* Experience with 3CX, FreePBX, or Asterisk environments.* Knowledge of cloud hosting, virtualization, and networking.* VoIP or networking certifications are a plus.Soft Skills* Strong problem-solving abilities.* Excellent written communication for live chat support.* Customer-focused mindset.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Employment Type: Full-time / Remote / Hybrid (as applicable)Department: IT & TelecommunicationsExperience Level: Mid-Level VoIP Engineer / VoIP Support Engineer
