You’ll work alongside a collaborative, dynamic, and forward-thinking team.You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient material flow and alignment between physical and system processes in a dedicated warehouse area. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams (such as warehouse key users, production teams, and external logistics providers), monitor key performance indicators, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.You’ll specifically take care of managing a team of logistics operators and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies, but also oversee the execution of material counts, movements, and storage within the information system.We’ll look to you for:Ensuring employees operate in a safe and compliant environment, adhering to company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.Overseeing material storage, guaranteeing availability, integrity, and on-time delivery to the production line.Managing physical material flows (e.g., reception, put-away, kitting, shipping) and ensuring alignment with system flows.Ensuring effective use of the ERP system and providing training to logistics operators.Monitoring and challenging performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Contributing to the APSYS roadmap and continuous improvement activities within the warehouse area.Providing leadership to the team by setting objectives, coaching, and supporting their development.Optimizing warehouse layout and line-feeding processes (e.g., Kanban flow).Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and ensuring their compliance with Alstom’s standards and performance expectations.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
