Warehouse Senior Manager

The Warehouse Senior Manager at Hyde Park Developments is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely distribution, and adherence to safety standards. This role leads the warehouse team to support the company's construction and development projects by maintaining optimal stock levels and streamlining logistics processes.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatchDevelop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and accuracySupervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company standardsCoordinate with procurement, project management, and logistics teams to align warehouse activities with project demandsOversee inventory management processes, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation to maintain accurate recordsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouseManage warehouse budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor relationshipsUtilize ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Microsoft Office tools for reporting, demand forecasting, and data analysisIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce costsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum 13 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 5 years in a managerial positionProven experience within the real estate or construction sectors is highly desirableStrong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics managementProficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle, and Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage and motivate a diverse team to achieve targets effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvementKnowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements in warehouse environments
