Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all timesPlan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goodsEnsure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customer’s timescales/requirementsSupervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damageOrganize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervalsEnsure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company’s procedures and requirementDeliver the product to the customer on time, every time using appropriate methodsOperate visual delivery tracking systems in order that commodity status can be seen at a glanceEnsure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windowsIn conjunction with the Warehouse Manager, implement warehouse and management systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvementMonitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous customer serviceEnsure security of Warehouse environment and maintain access control, ensuring 5S housekeeping standards are maintained at all timesMaintain the management of supplier return packagingRecord and communicate all shortage issues to the relevant Materials AnalystMonitor stock levels in order to highlight minimum and excess levels and therefore prevent part shortagesJob Requirements:Bachelor degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration5-7 years of relevant experience.Must have experience in manufacturing.Highly effective supervisory skills and techniquesKnowledge of warehouse software packages " Oracle “and MS Office proficiencyAbility to input, retrieve and analysis dataExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving skills, cooperation, flexibility, accountability.
