The university embodies SEKEM’s vision of linking science, humanity, and development to prepare future leaders for global challenges.Headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, SEKEM employs over 2,000 individuals and collaborates with more than 800 farms cultivating approximately 6,500 acres of land under sustainable practices.Role DescriptionSEKEM Group is seeking to appoint qualified Academic Staff for Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality academic courses, conducting impactful interdisciplinary research, and mentoring students to support their academic and professional development. The role also involves contributing to curriculum design and continuous improvement in alignment with international academic standards.In addition, the Academic Staff member will actively participate in capacity-building initiatives, community engagement programs, and collaborative projects, while contributing to the university’s mission of advancing sustainability, innovation, and holistic human development.QualificationsWe are inviting applications for the following academic positions: Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor across the faculties of Agriculture, Pharmacy, Engineering, Business Administration, and Physical Therapy at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development.Candidates at all ranks are expected to demonstrate the following:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate within a diverse academic environment.Strong analytical and research capabilities, particularly within sustainability and interdisciplinary fields.Proven experience in higher education, including curriculum development, teaching, and training delivery.A strong commitment to sustainable development and human-centered growth.A PhD in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution is required for all academic ranks.A solid research record, demonstrated through publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals, with expectations varying according to academic rank.Demonstrated experience in teaching, academic supervision, and/or research collaboration.Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is considered an asset.Experience in project management, research initiatives, and community engagement programs is highly desirable.#AcademicJobs #HigherEducation #UniversityCareers #Research #Sustainability #FacultyHiring #EgyptJobs #PhDJobs
