The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves budgeting, cost analysis, and assisting with audits. Collaboration with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve accounting operations is a key part of the position. QualificationsStrong proficiency in financial accounting, budget management, and cost controlKnowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory complianceProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelAttention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fielProfessional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plusPrevious experience in the petroleum or energy industry is highly desirableAbility to work effectively as part of an on-site team
