We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure accurate accounting records within the tourism and travel industry. The role is responsible for overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. You will support financial decision-making through accurate reporting, reconciliations, and analysis. We specialize in connecting top-tier talent with industry leaders, driving innovation, and fostering high-performance cultures across the MENA region and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activitiesPerform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial recordsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysesMonitor cash flow and support effective cash management processesHandle supplier settlements, customer accounts, and tourism-related financial transactionsEnsure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations, VAT, withholding tax, and financial reporting requirementsSupport tourism package costing and financial performance analysisMaintain accurate accounting records and coordinate with internal stakeholders on financial matters.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 3–5 years of accounting experience within the Tourism and Travel industryPrevious experience in a travel agency, tour operator, destination management company (DMC), airline, hospitality-related business, or similar environmentStrong experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, and Cash ManagementAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis, and reportingExperience using ERP and accounting software systemsStrong understanding of Egyptian tax regulations, VAT, withholding tax, and financial compliance requirementsVery Good command of English, both written and spokenStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
