Company Description Frienergy Ltd is a waste-to-energy company specializing in the production of Tyres-Derived Fuel (TDF) and its supply to the Egyptian cement industry in addition to exporting biomass products to European markets. Team members collaborate in a dynamic environment focused on innovation, operational excellence, and environmental impact.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in 6th October City, Egypt for an Alternative Fuels Factory Director. The Alternative Fuels Factory Director will oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable TDF production that meets quality and delivery targets. The role includes developing and implementing production plans, optimizing manufacturing processes, and monitoring key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. The director will lead and coach multidisciplinary teams, coordinate maintenance and technical support, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The position also involves collaborating with senior management on capacity planning, budgeting, and strategic projects, as well as supporting customer and supplier relationships related to alternative fuels.QualificationsStrong production planning and production management skills to organize, schedule, and optimize TDF and alternative fuels output.Proficiency in manufacturing and process operations, with the ability to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance plant efficiency.Experience in quality management, including setting standards, monitoring product quality, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.Effective team management capabilities, including leading diverse teams, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.Background in industrial, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering (or related field); advanced degree is an advantage.Proven experience in factory or plant leadership, ideally in waste-to-energy, alternative fuels, cement, or related heavy industry.Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in industrial and environmental operations.Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with familiarity in using data and KPIs to drive performance.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across operations, management, suppliers, and clients.Proficiency in Arabic, familiarity with English, the Egyptian regulatory context and Odoo ERP system is a strong plus.
