Job SummaryWe are seeking an AR Accounting Section Head to lead the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring efficient management of receivables, accurate reporting, and timely collection of customer balances. This role involves strategic oversight of billing and collection processes, team leadership, and collaboration with internal departments to optimize cash flow in a fast-paced retail environment.Job ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the Accounts Receivable team, providing guidance, and performance management.Oversee and monitor all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Develop and implement processes and controls to optimize billing, collections, and reconciliation activities.Prepare and review receivables reports, financial analyses, and forecasts for management.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure smooth operational processes.Manage month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR accounts.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting Certificate is a plus.7+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Retail background is a must.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems, Odoo ERP exposure is a must.High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing internal teams and external clients.
