Assistant Manager - Controlling I Real Estate I Finance

Overview of the role:Ensure accurate and reliable business reporting through the execution of robust, well-controlled financial closing processes, maintaining consistency, compliance, and integrity across all reporting activities.What you will do:Ensures an accurate & timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.Maintaining the Chart of Accounts; ensure adequate and proper classification among accounts’ groups.Prepare monthly management reports.led the external auditor discussion and disputesupport R2R Team in preparing the FSEnsure a clean & timely year end audit and assist with financial audits, prepare audit schedules and interface with auditors.Responsible to prepare and distribute timely, accurate financial statement and all Analytical reports related and non-related to the financial statementsParticipate in special projects, ERP implementation, system enhancements or ad hoc analyses as assigned.Ensure reconciliation of inter-company accounts and rectification of reconciling items.Ensure that all the financial transactions are properly accounted in the General Ledger and in the correct cost and profit centres.Handling intercompany cost allocations.Maintaining accurate revenue and cost recognition databases.Ensure all month-end entries are passed in the system like pre-payments, accruals etc.Monitoring bookings of tax entries especially VAT accounting.SkillsRequired Skills to be successful:8+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the real estate sector.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Word.Experience with SAP or similar financial systems is preferred.Proven track record in preparing high-quality financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.What equips you for the role:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.Professional certifications such as IFRS, CMA, or FMVA are a plus.
