The role involves providing legal counsel on cross-border commercial transactions, international contracts, and distribution agreements related to the manufacturing and sale of buses and transport solutions. The International Attorney will review, draft, and negotiate contracts with global partners, customers, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with international, regional, and local laws and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on regulatory requirements, managing legal risks, supporting dispute resolution and litigation matters, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales, procurement, finance, and operations. The role also includes monitoring changes in international trade, export/import controls, and industry-specific regulations, and preparing clear guidance and training for relevant stakeholders.Qualifications Advanced legal expertise in international business law, contract law, and commercial law, with experience in cross-border transactions. Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents with international partners. Knowledge of international trade regulations, export/import laws, and compliance frameworks relevant to manufacturing and transportation sectors. Proficiency in legal research, risk assessment, and developing practical legal solutions aligned with business objectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex legal concepts in a clear, accessible manner. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, and to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Law degree (LL. B or equivalent) from an accredited institution; additional international law or LL. M qualifications are an advantage. Prior experience in an international corporate setting, preferably within manufacturing, automotive, or commercial vehicles industries. High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and compliance. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial for communication with global stakeholders.
