At STM Investments, we are looking for Bank Relations Accountant responsible for supporting daily banking operations and treasury activities, ensuring accurate and timely execution of financial transactions. The role manages bank transfers, cheques, and cash flow-related activities, while coordinating closely with the Accounts Payable team & Sales Accountant Team to ensure proper validation and processing of payments. The position also handles cheque tracking, collections, and communication with banks to maintain smooth financial operations.Responsibilities:Execute daily banking operations including transfers, cheque processing, and cash flow-related transactions.Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team to review and validate payment requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper approvals before processing through banks.Process payments through banking channels in accordance with company policies and approved payment schedules.Manage and follow up on cheque wallets (cheque deposit batches) submitted to banks, ensuring proper tracking of collections and clearing status.Monitor cheque collections, deposits, and clearing cycles, ensuring timely realization of funds.Track and manage cheque rejections, coordinating with relevant stakeholders for resolution and reprocessing.Ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of issued cheques with banking requirements.Maintain proper records and documentation for all banking transactions, including cheque wallets and supporting documents.Communicate and coordinate with banks regarding transactions, collections, and any discrepancies.Support cash flow tracking and provide updates to the Treasury Manager as needed.- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Previous Experience: 1-3 years of experience in treasury, banking operations, or accounting.- Special requirements: Basic understanding of banking operations, payments processing, and treasury functions.Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external banks.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle and coordinate effectively with banks and internal stakeholders.Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
